In this 10-session (20-hr) course for absolute beginners, students will learn the basic fundamentals of Italian grammar and essential communications skills such as how to introduce oneself, greet others politely and informally, get to know others by asking and sharing information about oneʼs place of origin, current residence, occupation and hobbies, as well as how to order in a cafe and a restaurant. This course also addresses various aspects of Italian culture and daily life. Students will complete the first 2 chapters of the textbook, integrating written and oral grammar exercises with lots of speaking practice in mini-dialogues and conversational scenarios.
