Make & Take Dolci

Frappe Treats for Carnevale

Frappe are rectangles of sweet pastry dough fried and coated with powdered sugar. They are typical tasty Carnevale treats made throughout Italy and called by various names: chiacchieresfrappole, crostoli, bugie, cenci and many more depending on the region.

Join Romina Montanari, native Italian instructor and passionate cook, and make your own Frappe!

The group will taste the fresh made Frappe with a glass of wine and learn how Carnevale is celebrated in Italy.

Don't forget to bring a tray and two flour sack towels (or light kitchen towels) and a large container with you as you will carry back home the Frappe you just made!

The event will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Mid-City Kitchen, 693 Raymond Avenue, St. Paul 55114. Free parking available.
