The plan sounds simple, but their lack of experience, competing personalities, bad luck and endless improvisation quickly turn it into an hilarious disaster. A major critically success, winner of two Nastro D'Argento (Best Lead Actor for Vittorio Gassman, Best Screenplay), and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
