IN-PERSON EDUCATION AND TASTING

Wednesday, April 13, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Vermouth, Italian Liqueurs, and Cocktails, oh my! Join us for a historical overview of five Italian libations and how to incorporate them into your daily repertoire. Tipples will be sipped, recipe booklets to be had, and hands on demos covering bartending technique / execution provided to the curious!

In addition to 5 cocktails tasting, you will enjoy stuzzichini (appetizers) in the new beautiful ICC space in Minneapolis.

The cocktails education and tasting will be led by Marco Zappia.

Marco Zappia is a hospitality professional and a nefarious drink slinger. After a lovely childhood in Minneapolis, he headed west coast to Stanford and eventually the patchouli-scented bosom of Berkeley. After realizing his brand of existential nihilism didn’t jive with most Californians, he traveled east to the wine and cheese parties of Bard. He returned to Minneapolis to become a dishwasher and promptly fell in love with the restaurant industry. He's consulted on a masochistic amount of restaurant openings, trained hundreds of bartenders, and designed award winning programs & cocktails across the country.
