ICC presents an opportunity to review the best of Italian poetry created over a span of seven centuries in its original form!
This language class is a valuable introduction to Italian poetry for Italian language students of INTERMEDIATE level and up (see Intermediate course descriptons). Among poets covered in this class: Dante, Petrarca, Leopardi, Quasimodo, Pasolini.
The first meeting will take place on Thursday, February 24, 6-7:30 PM. Class will meet for 6 weeks in Suite 501 of the Hennepin Center for the Arts, and it will be facilitated by Massimo Bonavita, a native Italian instructor and President of the ICC.
