Viaggia con noi e impara l’Italiano!

In 2013, the ICC launched an exciting new service: Italian classes in Italy! Led by an experienced ICC board member, a small group of Minnesota adult students traveled to Sorrento, a coastal town in southern Italy, to study the Italian language and visit its beautiful surroundings. A group returned to Sorrento in 2014. In the fall of 2016, a third group studied in Lucca (Toscana) in September of 2017, we ventured to Cefalu, Sicily, and in 2018, our travels led us to Reggio Emilia (Emilia Romagna). For the first time, in the fall of 2019, the ICC offered two successful educational travel experiences; the first to Recanati, a small village in the Marche region....and the second to the beautiful seaside city of Trieste, located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region!

The ICC partners with well-respected language schools for non-native speakers of all levels of proficiency. A detailed 14-15 day itinerary includes Italian classes each morning, as well as an amazing selection of cultural, archeological and cooking excursions throughout the area. Also included in the package are hotel accommodations and breakfast each day.

Educational Travel 2020 ----- Lucca!

NOTE:  The 2020 Lucca Educational Experience has SOLD OUT

We are very pleased to announce that the ICC's educational adventure will lead us to the charming hill town of Lucca for the second time!

Our initial visit to the Lucca Italian School, in 2016, was so amazing that we have decided to travel to this magnificent village in Tuscany once again!

Lucca, a living testimony to past times, kingdoms and dominions, lies in a green valley just north west of Florence. This almost perfectly preserved jewel of medieval architecture and buildings, emanates charm and shows layers of history from every corner of its narrow winding streets. Beginning in Roman times, continuing through the Middle Ages, on to the Napoleonic era and finally to the RisorgimentoLucca's monuments, churches, palaces and roads, even its very shape have a story to tell. Each layer blending with preceding ages marking the growth and changes of the city. The broad, high walls, which characterize the city, are a feature of its past, and a pleasant element of its present.

Don't miss out on our latest educational adventure!  Study Italian, and explore the region of Tuscany, for 14 days in October of 2020!

NOTE:   In order to participate,  a non-refundable deposit of $250 is necessary to hold your place.
