Summer Classes at the Italian Cultural Center are dependent on instructor availability and student desire and vary year to year.  Please see below to see what will be offered this summer at the ICC.

    The goal of this course is for students to be able to speak more extensively about themselves, their profession, their likes and dislikes. Students will also learn how to handle situations related to ordering at restaurants, shops, ask about prices, clothes, and daily activities. Each class will provide information and discussion on cultural aspects of Italian life.

    Prerequisite: Beginner Level 1

    Please contact the school if you have not taken any other classes at ICC before registering. An instructor will assess your level.

    ONLINE: How to tell stories in the past - Passato Prossimo

    Join us for a two hour workshop focused on how to tell stories in the past. Led by a native instructor, students will practice how the passato prossimo is used in Italian in comparison to the use of the past tense in English.  

    Prerequisite: Beginning Level 3.

    This is a one time workshop, which will be held on Thursday, February 17, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.  The cost is $40 for members and $50 for non-members.

    ONLINE - How to describe current events: Verbi al presente

    Join us for a two hour workshop focused on how to express yourself when describing current events and plans by reviewing verbi al presente. Led by a native instructor, students will practice regular/irregular, as well as modal verbs in meaningful contexts.

     Prerequisite: Beginning Level 1

    This is a one time workshop, which will be held on Thursday, March 24, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. The cost is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Please register and remit payment here to reserve you place in class.
