An Update

Here we are, heading into November, and our busy fall term is well underway!  Summer was a success, and 18 students enrolled in beginner classes.  Fall has been no exception, and our 60+ students are enjoying 9 classes, from the beginner to the advanced level.

Two of our instructors, Carmela Parisi and Carlo Cicala, have moved out of the area.  We will miss both of them, and wish them the best in their new pursuits!  We are pleased to say that three new instructors have joined us at the ICC.  Please be sure to welcome Giusy Clemente, Mirella Heimpel, and Frida Tosi.  You can read more about each of them on our instructor page here on the website.

We also wish to welcome Grace Huibregtse as Executive/Financial Assistant of the ICC.  Ella Chanbe, who proceeded Grace, has resigned.  We will miss Ella greatly, and hope to see her frequently at many ICC activities and events.  Be sure to watch for Grace, and contact her with any questions you might have.

We are in the midst of plans for our fall Festeggiamo dinner!  We had a wonderful time at the Lexington Restaurant this past spring, so we will return to the Lex for our fall event.  The festivities will include our own Italian cameriera, Italian music, (complete with a sing-a-long), and a discussion of the Lombardia region.  A three course dinner will be provided, and all levels of the language are welcome.  Look for details on our website, and register today!!

Winter term registration is now open.  An open house will take place on Wednesday, January 4th, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.  We are considering holding a volunteer fair during our open house, so please keep an eye on our website for details.  Classes will commence the week of January 9.  Come and join us....Spend the cold winter months learning a new language!!
