IMG_3893.JPGThe Italian Cultural Center organizes events specifically tailored to children: cooking classes, movies, a story hour, parties in celebration of Carnevale and La Befana as well as special collaborations with local artists and institutions, such as the Italian performance of renowned shadow theater master Fabrizio Montecchi's Circoluna at the Children's Theatre Company.

     Italian Summer Camp in Minneapolis.

    Italian Summer Camp in Minneapolis

    Don’t miss the chance to register your kids for this wonderful adventure in the authentic language, culture and food of the Bel Paese!

    Led by passionate Italian native instructors, the kids will be exploring culture, art, music, food and language of Italy. Participants do not need to speak Italian to enroll. 

    Activities will include two field trips: a picnic to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden ; and a visit to Punch Pizza to learn how to make wood-fired pizza. 

    The materials, the food and the field trips are all included in the cost of the registration!

    The camp is designed for all levels of Italian knowledge. For those who already speak the language, this will be a great opportunity to practice with their peers. For those who are just approaching the language for the first time, this will be an opportunity to start to learn simple words, phrases and new meanings in the language. 

    When: Mon-Fri, June 17-21 from 9:00am to 1:00pm

    Where: ICC 528 Hennepin Ave Minneapolis, MN 55403 suite # 502

    Age: 4-13;  age groups (4-6);(7-9);(10-13)

    Fee: $235 members, $265 non-members  

    A minimum of 15 registrants is required for the summer camp to materialize.
