You learned of him in Bollettino....You've read his articles on the website and sampled his recipes. Now, it's time to MEET BENNY THE CHEF in person!
Benedetto D'Epiro was born in Rome and is a native Italian chef, culinary teacher, and cookbook author. His career began in 1996 when he became chef of Ristorante Barberini in Rome. At the age of 19, he was the youngest chef in Italy. In 2008, he wrote his first cookbook, La Cucina Secondo Me. The book won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award. In 2010, he published his second cookbook, The Art of Cooking According to Me.
Benny will offer a short presentation, and he will be available to sign copies of his book. The event is FREE and will be held in suite 502 of the new Cowles Center 528 Hennepin Avenue, on Thursday, May 17th. Please register online, and join us from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Light refreshments, prepared by Benny, will be served.
