IMG_3893.JPGThe Italian Cultural Center organizes a movie club, a story hour, parties in celebration of Carnevale and the Befana as well as special collaborations with local artists and institutions, such as the Italian performance of renowned shadow theater master Fabrizio Montecchi's Circoluna at the Children's Theatre Company (pictured at left).

    Festa Carnevale

    A Carnevale ogni scherzo vale!
    Join the ICC for a     festive celebration of Carnevale that will include traditional Carnevale sweets (homemade bugie and fritelle for starters); mask-making; la pentolaccia; face-painting; and a bubble and light-filled costumed dance party featuring Italian children's dance music as well as Italian pop DJed by ICC parents Leonardo Rapallini and Vittorio Raimondi to keep both adults and children on their feet! I Ballerini Italiani di Minnesota will also be making a special guest visit ...

    Children and parents are encouraged to come in costume. All are welcome!
    The event is free, but please consider a $2 per person donation to help sustain ICC cultural programming for children. Thank you to the Uptown Kowlaski's and Central Lunds for their in-kind support.
